hello HP team,
This was almost the 4th time I was posting about my display colour depth issue. Somehow I figured myself that it was the graphic drivers issue after uninstalling the INTEL UHD 620 drivers. The monitor is capable of 8-bit color depth. But installing the drivers from the HP website, the colour depth downgrades to the 6-bit.
And weird thing is thing is that while installing the INTEL HD 620 graphic drivers(coz those are the drivers mentioned in the website), It is being installing itself to the INTEL UHD 620 drivers. It is neither getting upgraded to DCH drivers nor could solve my issue. AND YES, I'M INSTALLING THE DRIVERS IN OFFLINE.
- First thing is that my actual model number is HP Pavilion 15-cc1xx(from HP support assistant), But after typing the serial number in the site It is showing that the model is HP Pavilion 15-cc129tx
- Second thing is that my laptop has inbuilt INTEL UHD 620 graphics card. but the website drivers shows the HD 620 drivers
- THIRD AND MOST, the display drivers somehow degrading my display bit depth (WHICH IS MY PRIMARY ISSUE)
Fix your drivers and first please contact me soon.

@Yashsnow Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you are unable to update the drivers.
- First thing is that my actual model number is HP Pavilion 15-cc1xx(from HP support assistant), But after typing the serial number in the site It is showing that the model is HP Pavilion 15-cc129tx
In the HP support assistance, it will show the laptop series number. We have various model numbers. the actual model number is HP Pavilion 15-cc129tx.
- Second thing is that my laptop has an inbuilt INTEL UHD 620 graphics card. but the website drivers shows the HD 620 drivers
- THIRD AND MOST, the display drivers somehow degrading my display bit depth (WHICH IS MY PRIMARY ISSUE)
Please check in the HP support assistance, if there are no drivers pending. There are no drivers as of now. you have to wait for drivers.
