Hi Everyone,
I purchased HP 15.6 inch laptop recently (1 month ago), but i am not at all satisfied with the HD display and audio. Unfortunately, there is no return option from the store where i purchased the laptop.
Now i want to check, if at least i can change/upgrade my laptop screen to FHD display. If yes, can any one let me know where it can be done and whether if i change the laptop screen, warranty will have any impact.
Thanks in advance.

Upgrading the screen of your HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-fd0000 (952D1AV) from an HD display to an FHD display is a feasible option. However, there are a few considerations and steps involved:
Compatibility: Ensure that the new FHD screen is compatible with your laptop model. HP's website provides product specifications that can help determine compatibility.
Warranty: Changing the laptop screen yourself or through a third party may void your warranty. It's crucial to understand the terms of your warranty, which can be found on the HP website or by contacting HP Support.
Professional Service: For performing an upgrade like this, I recommend contacting HP Support or an authorized HP service provider. They have the expertise to ensure the upgrade is done correctly without voiding the warranty.
Steps for Screen Upgrade
If you decide to proceed with the upgrade, here's a simplified guide:
- Research: Visit HP's support website to find the product specifications and ensure the screen you intend to use is compatible.
- Purchase the Screen: Purchase the compatible FHD screen from a trusted supplier or directly through HP if available.
- Installation: Contact HP Support or visit an authorized HP service center to perform the installation.
I hope this helps.
