Hello,

I have a new HP Elitebook 640 G10 laptop and a new E23 G4 monitor.

I tried going from laptop hdmi to monitor hdmi and it didn't work.

I tried going from laptop hdmi to monitor vga and it didn't work.

I tried going from laptop usb c to monitor vga and it didn't work.

When I say didn't work, for each attempt, I tried Windows+P and went under Display settings and selected the multiple monitors-Detect and in the monitor menu system, I tried selected HDMI, VGA and Display Port for each attempt.

Windows says my generic windows display driver is up to date and my Windows 11 is also up to date.

Any ideas?

update: I can use the monitor on another machine, so it's something with the laptop.  I also tried laptop HDMI to monitor DisplayPort and that didn't work either.
