HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg0027od
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to connect my HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg0027od to my Dell27 4K USB-C Monitor - P2721Q (https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/dell-27-4k-usb-c-monitor-p2721q/apd/210-axlt/monitors-monitor-a...).

I tried to connect the two with the HDMI to DisplayPort cable as well as the USB-C cable to no avail. The monitor says "No USB-C signal from your device" then goes into standby mode. I get this same type of error message when I tried to used the HDMI to DisplayPort cable.

However, I tested the Dell Monitor with another HP laptop (https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-elitebook-840-g8-notebook-pc-customizable-19x35av-mb) and it works just fine. As soon as I connected the USB-C cable, the display showed up on the monitor.

Is there a way to connect my HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg0027od to my Dell27 4K USB-C Monitor - P2721Q ?
