I'm trying to connect my HP laptop to an external display. I have USB C on my laptop which I'm connecting to USB-C to VGA adapter. This adapter then connects to my monitor VGA port.
This setup with the same hardware works for my Dell laptop just fine.
My laptop detects the device as PTN5002. Does anyone know about this ?
I have tried the diagnostics and updating driver and BIOS so please. I have tried restart while device attached too but it doesn't detect. No silly business.
I see one similar issue here. But HP says this should be done via private message !
Please help ! I can share a remote connection over teamviewer if you require.
Thanks
