Years ago I disabled by Elan touchpad by going to apps and going to Elan touchpad.  It had an option to enable or disable.  Now I go there and there is no option.  I have searched the web and have uninstalled driver and installed new one.  Computer says touchpad is working fine but now Elan does not show up on my apps.  I looked in Control Panel under devices and bluetooth and found touchpad but there is no option to enable.  I looked at advice about Windows 11 but that was no help.  There must be a way to enable this thing.  I just wanted to turn it on if my wife wanted to use my computer.  My thumb is always hitting the touchpad so I don't want it on normally.  Is there an answer?  Thank you.
