HP Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a ~1.5 year old HP Envy x360 running Windows 10. I have been using OneNote to take notes and do assignments for over a year now, and it has always worked excellently.  But at the beginning of the school year this year, my stylus (specifically palm-rejection) would work all day, but randomly stop working randomly at some point in the evening. When I hover my hand above the screen, I can write. But as soon as I put my palm down to write naturally, the pen connection begins flickering, and I can no longer write, making OneNote useless for doing homework. After a few hours of not using it, the pen will randomly work again.

I made sure that "Ignore touch input while using pen" is turned ON. Changed the battery and pen point in my stylus. I have already updated my drivers, windows version, and my BIOS. I have even wiped my entire Windows partition, including personal files, and re-installed windows and MS Office. I also purchased a new pen. Nothing has worked. If it helps, here is the link to the pen I bought, it worked great for a year, and the new one is having the same issue: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0716LK55W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Can anybody help me? Thank you!

@CL1512,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Please refer the below link to find the list of the compatible stylus for your computer. I see that you are using a third-party stylus and HP cannot guarantee the functionality for the same.
