Hi @MJWag,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To change the camera direction on your HP Envy x360 15.6-inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC, you can adjust the orientation through your system's camera settings or by rotating the laptop itself. If you’re using your device in tablet mode (as a 2-in-1), the camera automatically adjusts based on the orientation of the device.

Here’s how you can adjust the camera orientation:

Physical Rotation (Tablet Mode):

  • Rotate your laptop screen 180 degrees (so the back of the screen faces outward) to switch the camera's direction for video calls or photos.

Camera Settings in Windows:

  • Open the Camera app by searching for it in the Start Menu.
  • If the camera is upside down or flipped, you can try rotating the screen itself by physically rotating the laptop into a different position (tablet or laptop mode).
  • For more advanced camera settings, click on the Settings (gear icon) in the Camera app to adjust things like brightness, contrast, etc.

Third-Party Software:

  • If the built-in camera settings don’t provide an option to flip the camera, you can also use third-party software like OBS Studio or video conferencing software that allows you to rotate the camera image.

If the camera remains inverted despite rotating the laptop, you may want to check the device's display settings for rotation issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
