Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2039298-1862169-16 (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).
- Just to ensure you're wanting to know how to change computer display settings?
Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi
Envy 17-ca0576na
I want to use it with my datacolor SpyrderX elite, this provides colour correction form monitors used for photography.
It is not a question of changing display settings but allowing the Spyder to change the screen profile, screen temperature, colour balance, brightness, contrast etc.
thanks k

Hmm seems you don't have much knowledge.
Thanks for passing the buck, surely you have people there who know the answer, rather than sending me on another wild goose chase!
Really this is not very helpful and I have waited days for nothing.
Have a nice day.

Thank you for posting back.
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

Hello,
Make sure your permissions are set correctly
-
In Windows 10, search for and open Store.
-
In the Windows Store, click the More icon
, and then select Settings.
-
Scroll down the window to Offline Permissions, turn on Make this PC the one I use to run some games or apps that have limited licenses, even when I'm offline, and then click Manage your devices.
-
Follow the on-screen instructions.
