Hi , I would like to increase my HP envy x360 frame rate from 60 to 120hz but it does not have that option it's not working smooth that's why I want to increases it and what's the function of the frame rate?

Actually your laptop's display max refresh rate is 60hz. So it won't be capped to 120hz no matter how u try it. If it's display was 120 hz then in display option there will be option to change refresh rate. Hope that helps! As of it isn't working smooth just update the laptop and it's drivers For update go to Settings>Windows Update at the top right corner >Click check for updates. Function of refresh rate it just helps the display to be smooth. 60 hz means your display can refresh itself 60 times a second. More bigger the no. more smoother the display.
