Hi @W108,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

The issue with your HP Tilt Pen MPP2.0 charging light not changing from orange to white could be due to a few factors. Here are steps to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Confirm Full Charge

  • Ensure the pen has been charged for at least 1.5 to 2 hours, as that's the typical charging time for most styluses.
  • Even if the light doesn't change, check if the pen functions properly. If it does, the issue might be limited to the light indicator.

2. Inspect the Charging Cable and Port

  • Use a different USB cable and adapter to eliminate potential issues with the charging equipment.
  • Inspect the pen's charging port for any dust or debris and clean it gently if needed.

3. Battery Calibration

  • Use the pen until it fully discharges, then recharge it fully in one session. This can help recalibrate the battery.

4. Reset the Pen

  • Many pens have a reset button or procedure. Refer to your pen's user manual for instructions on resetting it.

5. Hardware Issue

  • If the light still doesn’t change after trying the above steps, the issue might be a hardware defect in the LED indicator or the charging circuit.
