Hey guys,

So I've had this laptop for less than a month and I've seen these markings on my screen show up. I'm not sure what they are as they do not look like scratches but more like a bubble inside the display?  They do seem to have sort of a rough texture. At first, I thought the pen might be the reason for this so I changed the tip but after a few days, I noticed that more kept appearing.

I don't know what this is or what's causing this. The computer is brand new and I obviously treat it well because I spent a lot of money on it. It sucks that this is happening but I'm hoping to find a way to fix this quickly since I use this for school and keep all my notes on here.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. You can clearly see the clear / white marks. I tried cleaning them off but it didn't do anything..You can clearly see the clear / white marks. @RamenJar

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
This seems like a hardware related issue with the LCD panel and to fix this issue display needs to be replaced. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
