Wondering if my HP Envy laptop should be compatible with mpp pens. I have tried a hp mpp 2.0 tilt pen and it was not recognised by my computer so I returned it to JB Hi Fi.

HI @RogerJ1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The HP Envy x360 14-fc0000 should be compatible with MPP (Microsoft Pen Protocol) pens, but there can be variations in compatibility based on the specific hardware configuration. Here are some steps to check compatibility:
Check Device Specifications: Verify that your laptop model specifically supports pen input. You can usually find this information on HP’s website or in the user manual.
Update Drivers: Ensure that all drivers, especially for the touchscreen and pen input, are up to date. Check the HP Support site for any available updates.
Try Another Pen: If your HP MPP 2.0 tilt pen didn’t work, consider trying another MPP-compatible pen, as some pens may have compatibility issues.
Settings Check: Go to Windows settings to ensure that pen input is enabled. You can check under Settings > Devices > Pen & Windows Ink.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
