Envy x360 Convertible 13-ay0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased an HP Envy x360 Convertible 2-in-1 through Costco (my computer tells me it's an HP Envy Convertible 13-ay0xxx). I specifically chose a 2-in-1 over a "regular" laptop for a variety of reasons, one of which was the ability to sketch art and draw diagrams directly onto the screen using a stylus/pen. I planned on purchasing a pen after buying the computer so I could shop around, but I'm having a difficult time figuring out which pens and styluses would work with my model. It seems that the compatibility list for every pen doesn't contain my model.

I've thought about just buying a pen and testing it out, but I'm leaving for college soon and I don't want to mess with shipping things back while I'm settling in. If that's what it takes I'll do it, but it feels like there should be an easier way to find a pen that works.

Thanks in advance!

@fionalaylaskis you can check the stylus compatibility through the virtual agent: Click here

- they keyword is "stylus compatibility". and then follow the process.

if it does not mention anything about it, that may mean that the device only supports passive stylus and here's all you need to know about it:

  • A passive stylus (also known as capacitive stylus) functions the same as your finger on the screen.
  • Passive styluses do not require batteries, and they work on any touch screen device.

Since I don't have accurate information of your product, I can't help you with precise information, if you need me to help, here's what I need:

you may order the replacement parts on the HP Parts Store, If you've already looked for it and couldn't find it on the HP Parts Store, you may want to get it locally at the online store such as Amazon or eBay, etc...as the part numbers are universal.

It worked! I had used the HP Chat function before but it was having difficulty with my request. But when I entered "stylus compatibility" it got me two pen options quickly. Thank you!!!!
