Microsoft Windows Server 2019

Hello,

I do not even know if I am approaching this in the correct area, but it is worth a shot. My laptop screen broke today. I opened it and the hinge broke pulling the screen apart and it proceeded to smoke and shut down. I no longer have the warranty and had to purchase a new laptop. Is this other lap top worth fixing? I was told at Best Buy that this would be outrageously priced and better off to purchase new. So here I am with a new laptop, but wondering if the other one is worth saving.

If it is an issue only with the screen, then it's definitely worth fixing. I suggest you contact HP Support for Service Options
