Dear community member and HP support,

I would like to connect 3 external monitors to my laptop and still make use of laptop's internal panel (for a total of 4 monitors). Taken into considerations of my laptop's specs (https://support.hp.com/si-en/document/c06931915 with NVidia Quadro P620), I have to use the HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 (https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05913756 ) in order to achieve that since it supports up to 5 total monitors as those specs state (please let me know if I am wrong).

However, the "If Thunderbolt only port on the dock is connected, then the three external displays do not function"  is a bit confused and I cannot get the meaning of it. HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 has to be connected with my laptop's thunderbolt port after all, or not? What am I missing here?

Thanks in advance,

Konstantinos
