Input Signal not found when trying to connect via HDMI to MacBook Sonoma 14.2.1

Can't think of any reason why it would NOT work with a MacBook.

Could be the monitor or the cable.

Connect the monitor to a Windows PC -- and if it works with that, it is likely to be some display setting on your MacBook.

If it does NOT work with that, it's likely to be the cable, so you would have to try a different cable.

Thanks, did that before posting here. Cable/adapter works as well. The problem seems to be happening often, not an issue with displaysettings of Macbook neither as I connected a Samsung monitot without problems.

Many thanks!

OK, so this monitor works with Windows PC and other monitors work with this MacBook -- using the same cable.

It's just that this monitor will not work with your MacBook.

Does it have any other video output, like VGA or DisplayPort?
