Product: Hp spectre x360 13t-ae000 CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased an external monitor to use with my spectre. What kind of cable can i purchase to do this? Can I purchase a HDMI to USBC cable or do i need a USBC to HDMI converter instead?

Machine should have following ports

 

● Audio-out (headphone)/audio-in (microphone) combo jack

● USB Type-A 3.1 Gen 1 port (1 port) with support for HP Sleep and Charge

● USB Type-C port 3.1 Gen 2 (2 ports) with Thunderbolt™ Gen 3 technology supporting the following functions:

   – Power delivery

   – Data transfer

   – DisplayPort 1.2

   – HP Sleep & Charge

 

I have not tested the following adapters but it should work
