What cable and/or drivers do I need to connect my HP S2031 monitor to my MacBook Pro laptop?  I am not a "computer guy"!!  Thanks

Hi,

 

The monitor has 2 input ports:

 

 
1 DVI-D connector
1 VGA connector

I don't know what is your Macbook pro but the following one has

 

 Connections and Expansion

  • MagSafe 2 power port
  • Two Thunderbolt 2 ports (up to 20 Gbps)
  • Two USB 3 ports (up to 5 Gbps)
  • HDMI port
  • 3.5 mm headphone jack
  • SDXC card slot
  • Apple Thunderbolt to FireWire Adapter (sold separately)
  • Apple Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter (sold separately)

The cheapest and easiest way to connect them using HDMI - DVI cable. You can find this type of cable in all good computer shops.
