HP Laptop - 14s-fq0000na
Microsoft Windows 11

I have the HP Laptop 14s-fq0xxx which I bought in 2021 and is running on Windows 11.

I've got an additional screen connected via the HDMI output socket,

I'd like to have a second external screen, I thought this would work using a USB to HDMI converter but apparently not. Can anyone tell me a way to get the second screen working or is it just not possible with this laptop?

Thanks

Its specs

You can use a DisplayLink Certified USB-HDMI adapter to connect. Your adapter probably is not a right one. Please try one which is similar to the following

            USB to HDMI Adapter

They also sell adapters with 2 ports.

Thanks for the advice however I've since been told by HP themselves that my laptop will not support a second external screen.

You'd think this function would be made very clear in the blurb, THIS LAPTOP DOES/DOESN'T SUPPORT......

It DOES support with a RIGHT adapter as mentioned above.

The link to the required adapter you suggested doesn't open. I've got a USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter.

HP have said it doesn't support a second additional screen so why do you think it does?
