Hi,

I am trying to connect 2 external monitors via display port on HP EliteBook 840 G3.

Tried connecting one monitor with display port cable and it works.

Now I want to connect another external monitor to share the screen on both monitors?

Can I get a display port adapter to connect 2 cables and will it work?

The fN key and  F4 key shows up the monitor setting s which can be extended.

I have 2 external monitors with display port cables.

Any help would be appreciated.

@Trev10

Do you mean you are going to use a splitter ? You can get 2 monitors but duplicated, not extend because they come out from a same source. You can use DisplayLink Certified USB docks.

Please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few options on market today including some HP products:

     https://www.displaylink.com/products/universal-docking-stations

or try following HP docks
