Product: HP EliteDisplay E243i 24-inch Monitor
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear HP community,

 

I wish to connect 2 HP E243i monitors to my laptop and was wondering if someone could help me out before I go out and buy a cable. My laptop has the following ports:

 

1 x HDMI

1 x USB-c

3 x USB 3.0

 

I currently have one of the HP E243i monitors connected to my laptop already via the HDMI connection. I tried to connect the second monitor via the USB-port on the monitor and the USB-c monitor in my laptop but this didn't work. Suggestions on how to successfully connect the second monitor are very welcome and appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I need to know what is your laptop ?  Please use the following way to find out the model/product of your machine

For security reason, please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n) on Internet.
