HP ENVY - 13-ah1507sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi the laptop I have is the

HP ENVY - 13-ah1507sa
I am currently working on it by connecting 1 external monitor using the USB type c port.

Would anyone know if this laptop can support more than 1 external monitor if I were to use a splitter? just want to confirm if this can support 2 external monitors before I spend money and buy a monitor.

`Thank you in advance.

Given your first monitor uses USB-C connection, you can daisy chain 2 monitors. Splitter won't work.

Regards.

Hi @Banhien

Thank you for responding. Apologies I should have clarified in my original message.

My current external monitor does not have a USB Type C port. It only supports VGA and DVI. I am currently using an HDMI to DVI wire that is connected to the type C port (on the laptop) using a converter/dongle.

So if I get another monitor that takes an HDMI/DVI connection and a dongle that with 2 HDMI ports would I be able to run two external monitors via the 1 USB type C port on the laptop? if it helps I am looking to use the laptop in clamshell mode.

Thank you in advance.
