HP Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a HDMI port, a USB-C port and2 x USB 3 ports on my new laptop. I'm trying to connect 2 external monitors. I have one going into the HDMI port but i've tried everything to get a signal out of the USB-C port via external docking stations and adaptors and it just won't identify the 2nd monitor. Could it be a faulty USB-C port?

I don't know what is your machine but does your USB-C support video out ? Many machine with USB-C Gen 1 do not support video out.

Is your docking station compatible with your and is it a DisplayLink certified dock ?

Regards.

Hi Banhien - I'm unsure if it is a Gen 1 USB-C. The machine was purchased by my boss from JB Hi-Fi only 4 weeks ago brand new. The serial number is CND9120W27 and the product no is 6QX77PA. It's a HP 15s-du0012TU
