Product: HP w2408

I have a HP Envy Laptop (Microsoft 10) that I want to connect to my monitor (HP w2408). I tried to download the software from the HP site, but it looks like that option is only available for laptops up to Microsoft 8 (Message: HP does not have any downloadable software or drivers for your product for that operating system). I have an external DVR and am wondering if HP may have a CD that I could order and use to download the software or if there are any other options.  The monitor is in excellent shape, so I would like to still use it if possible.

Hi,

You should not really need software to run the monitor.

How are you making the connection from the Envy to the monitor.

Once connected does the OS see the monitor  (Settings > display)
