Hi there. I've just purchased the above laptop specifically to connect it to my TV via HDMI, using the USB-C port on the laptop, but for some reason, it's not working. Yet it works using HDMI-HDMI. I'm now concerned that the laptop doesn't support HDMI-USB-C transfer, which will annoy me greatly as I specifically said I needed it to do so.
Anyone able to tell me what I'm doing wrong, please?

15s-eq100 CTO is a CTO machine, I can't get EXACTLY its specs but it should have same ports of the following machine
It ONLY has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine
- Connect to an external monitor (including TV) with/without hub/dock/adapter
Regards.

Thank you, @Banhien . Much appreciated. I need to go and tell the salesperson involved to check the specs BEFORE they sell something saying it can do this 🤨
Oh well, at least it has a HDMI port so not a total loss 🤷
