I'd like to add two external monitors to my HP notebook. One is easy - use the HDMI output. However, as the USB-C for this notebook is data only, I can't use this port for the second monitor. Are there any solutions to this, or will I have to give up on having a second monitor?

Thanks. I thought all the USB ports on my notebook are data only, but if this isn't so, then your solution should work. I'll check the USB port specs.

You can connect

M1: HDMI direct cable

M2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

For more connectivity, please use

                        True Universal Docking Stations

Hi Banhien

I bought a DisplayLink connector as you suggested, and it has worked, so many thanks for your advice.
