HP 24fw display
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear,

Today I received a new laptop from my employer: HP EliteBook 745 G6

And I also bought today:

2 x HP 24fw Display

HP USB-C Travel Hub G2

The first display I have connected to the HDMI port and this works fine, but the second display I wanted to connect via the hub to the USB-C port, but this doesn't work. The display is not recognized and the mouse pointer flickers and keeps jumping back to the middle of my screen.

How can I make this work with the laptop and 2 displays?

Thanks so much in advance.

Best regards,

D. Kadmaerubun

Additional:

When I disconnect the first external display (which was connected directly to HDMI port on laptop), the second display is still not recognized (via travel hub) and the mouse pointer keeps flickering and jumping back to the middle of my screen.

Can I assume the travel hub is not working properly? Or is it maybe not even compatible with this combination of HP products?

Hello

I just done this test:

Elitebook 745 G6 with a 1920x1080 internal display

Windows 10 1903

I connected an HP Monitor 4K to HDMI port

I connected USB-C Travel Hub (G1 version I guess)  then I connected a second 4K LG monitor via HDMI  to it

My notebook is able to extend the desktop on all try monitors without any issue.

did you try to swap the HDMI cables ?

bye
