Hi,

We have recently gotten interactive panels for teaching with in our schools. All computers connect through HDMI port except mine. Mine is a HP 15 with windows 11. Most times it doesn't pick up the HDMI connection at all, other times it does but it crackles and cuts out. I've checked the duplicate screens setting and that's working and contacted the Promethean panel company directly and once they checked everything they reckon the problem is with the computer and I need to get the graphic card or the port chipset checked. Can someone please help me as I'm lost and I can't display my screen to teach the kids.

I understand you are facing an audio-related issue with your HP product. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

To assist better:

  • May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
  • Was there any update on the printer prior to the issue?
  • Have you tried connecting to a different external monitor?

While you respond to that please try the below steps:

 

Update the BIOS, Video card & Chipset drivers to resolve this issue

Update all pending Windows Update: Select Start  > Settings  > Update & Security  > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates. If updates are available, install them.

 

Update system drivers using the HP Support Assistant:
