Hello, I just bought an HP Pavilion laptop and installed it today. After using it for a bit, I realized how uncomfortable the display was on my eyes. It seems like the contrast is out of whack and certain parts of the screen look different, with more or less lighting/contrast than other parts, all depending on the angle that my eyes are positioned. I've never had this issue before with any screen. It isn't as extreme as looking at a monitor that has a privacy screen, but not quite as strong.

I thought I just needed to correct the contrast, but after spending an hour looking at every setting and googling the issue, I can't seem to find any information related to this same issue. I also can't seem to find comments from other users on this issue, which makes me think that it's a specific issue I am having now, although my guess is that it is a design "preference" and not a software issue.

Does anyone know if I can adjust the settings to make the display a more "normal" screen, or if the display is just unique and I can't adjust it?

Not sure how this image will turn out, but below is a picture I took showing the strange contrast. You can see that the brightness seems higher at the middle bottom, but then darker on the top/sides, but a bit brighter on the top left and top right parts. I've already tuned it to be the most accurate setting, so this is the best I have been able to adjust it to.
