HP Notebook - 14-bs039na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. I brought my laptop recently from its case only to switch it on and find an ink blob on the bottom left corner as well as 3/4 of the display grey.

I'm still within the time period of the manufactures' warranty, however, I believe my laptop is not entitled to a free repair.

Being that I live in the UK is there a cheap option to replace it (the screen alone) or should I attempt to order the part and do it myself?

@Y1NX

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

If there was no Accidental Damage, the Notebook can be taken in for repair and they will check the crack and if it was not an accidental damage then they might repair it for free

Since this is an LCD issue, it is recommended to get it fixed in the service center

I have sent you a private message with the next course of action

Please check your private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile.
