HP Chromebook - 14-db0023dx

My son's HP Chromebook 14-db0023dx Touchscreen is cracked. It's unusable as is. Is it in my best interest to replace the screen and try to sell it after resetting it to factory settings?  Let someone refurbish it for me and try to sell it?  Or just sell as is to someone who can do all that themselves? Or heck, is it not worth any of the above! Thanks for any insight that you can offer!
