Im currently trying to calibrate the colors on a second display of mine, so they match the ones on my laptop. I went through the support for the second display, but they said they couldnt help me because the "DDC/CI" on my laptop was "Not supported (missing DPtx services)"
If anyone has any answer as to what this means, and how I can fix it, please help.
I need to enable the "DDC/CI" somehow

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
Riddle_Decipher is at your service.
As I understand you have a DDCI/CI disabled error while calibrating colors on your monitor,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
Are you using an HP monitor?
Have you attempted to reinstall or update the monitor drivers?
While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:
If you are experiencing communication errors involving DDC, or you are having trouble with the auto pivot function on your monitor, complete the following steps:
-
Check the cable between the computer and the monitor to make sure they are connected correctly and securely.
-
Check the HP Web site for updates to the software you are using with your monitor, such as HP My Display.
