 Hello people of the webs,

I recently bought the 1040 G11 because I wanted something of very good quality. It is! The build quality is top, the sound is great for a small laptop or a laptop in general, soldered ram but this gives it a performance boost, good thermals which will make it last and an IPS panel with 400nits of brightness (for my model) with satisfactory colour reproduction.

What I want to know is if ghosting is prevalent on all IPS panels for this model, if yes I will be very sad because I am satisfied with everything except the trails being left by the mouse cursor and all videos/scrolling through on pages.

Before anyone asks (hopefully someone will care enough to ask...) I have done everything that needed to be done in order to troubleshoot this. Updates, checking the refresh rate settings (there is a 60 and a 40 hertz option), not much else to check honestly. I am WISHING for it to be a defective panel and not a slow one because that means there is a solution, albeit a time-consuming one.

Everything  else is GREAT but watching videos and scrolling through a comment for example, that is not ideal and has left me very disappointed.  Only because of the contrast it creates next to everything else.

Thanks in advance,

Nick

5 days later and no reply,  I also noticed a very small black pixel on the right side of the panel. I wish someone would just answer but nevertheless it seems I will be sending this laptop back.
