Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing difficulties connecting your HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14-inch 2-in-1 Laptop to multiple displays via your Comsol docking station. Let's work through some potential solutions.
- Verify USB-C Port Capabilities: Ensure that your laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode), which is necessary for transmitting video signals. Some HP laptops' USB-C ports are limited to data transfer and may not support video output.
- Check Docking Station Compatibility: Confirm that your Comsol docking station is compatible with your HP OmniBook model. Compatibility issues can prevent proper functionality.
- Update Drivers and Firmware: Outdated drivers or firmware can cause connectivity problems. Visit HP's official support page to download and install the latest drivers and firmware updates for your laptop.
- Inspect Connections: Ensure all cables are securely connected. Try using different cables to rule out potential defects.
- Test Docking Station: Connect the docking station to another compatible laptop to determine if the issue lies with the docking station itself.
- Reset the Docking Station: Some docking stations may require a reset to function correctly. Unplug the docking station from power and your laptop, wait a few minutes, and then reconnect.
By following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the connectivity issue between your HP OmniBook Ultra Flip and the Comsol docking station.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
