DP support on HP Elitebook 1040 G3 USB-C port (SN# **bleep**)

Does or will the USB-C port on my HP Elitebook 1040 G3 labtop allow for display/video connectivity through an HP G5 dock for example? I have updated the Bios to latest available 2022 version but the Labtop doesn't detect the dok nor its two connected external monitors. Another indication is that I don't see the "Enable High Resolution mode when connected to a USB-C DP a lot mode dok" in the "Advanced"/"System Options" menu that others in the community mention when having a working DP com across their USB-C link
