IMG_5081.jpegIs this screen likely to be worth replacing on a Chromebook? It’s my daughters school Chromebook, she’s no idea what happened, it’s only about a year old but not expensive and not sure whether to buy new or try getting it fixed. The actual screen doesn’t feel broken to touch but it won’t turn on at all. Any advice would be good. Thanks

In my opinion, you would be better off replacing it with a new or refurbished unit.

The cost of a display with replacement will be over half of the present value of the Chromebook.

I always see the 50%+ of current value as a tipping point where I do not make the investment for repair.
