OMEN by HP Laptop 15-ce0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello,

My HP Omen is currently having issues with the screen. Anytime it is anything other than white I have a few purple/pink splotches appear on the middle-right of the screen. This issue has just come up today and from what I have found it is a pixel issue. I updated all my drivers and checked out the software and it all looks fine on that side so I am assuming it is a hardware issue.

I already checked with HP and my warranty has expired as of last year. Is there anything that can be done about this at home (I'm not too familiar with computer hardware so it may be better not to)? Or can I take it to a store to be repaired ,and if so about how much will it cost?

Thanks in advance for any advice/help that can be provided!

I reviewed your post and I understand that the display on your computer is gone bad and you are looking for replacement options.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

If you are comfortable replacing the display then you can purchase the display from the HP part store and replacing it yourself or you can take help from a local technician or a friend who can do this for you.

You can purchase all the replacement parts available for your computer from the HP part surfer.

Follow the steps in the below article for detailed instructions.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.
