Hi,
I own a HP EliteBook 840 G8 Notebook PC since 2023 January.
Performance wise and look wise its a completely wonderful.
But I'm facing issue with the design of the trackpad and the display.
When you close the lid, the screen goes and rests on the left & right buttons of the track pad.
My screen got scratches because of this. I don't know whether the team launches a product without properly checking the design or not. I was late to note this design flaws and by this time i got 2 deep patches on my screen. Currently I have to stick thick paper piece at edge of the screen to protect the screen from further damage so that the screen wont go and hit the track pad.
Hope you can do a proper design before launching a product.
Or is it a knowingly performed action, so that after some time people are forced to buy new system???
Temporary solution
Screen Patches
Marks on trackpad
