Spectre x360 (model: 13-4116dx)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello! Last night, I purchased a Bamboo Ink stylus to use with my HP Spectre x360 (model: 13-4116dx). To my dismay, the pen did not work with my laptop despite being able to pair via bluetooth. The pen did work with my sisters laptop (HP Envy x360), so the pen was not defective. I went to Best Buy to try all of the different digital pens they have on display, and after trying the myriad of different digital pens in store with my laptop, none of which worked, I believe my laptop may be missing one or more drivers? I am not too tech savvy, so I don't know how plausible this is. Is there anything I can download to fix this issue? I have tried to download the driver from Wacom's website for the Bamboo Ink, but I kept getting the following error message: "A supported tablet was not found on the system." Additionally, I think the issue has to do with my laptop being an older model (2016-17). Looking online, there are two HP pens which are compatible with my laptop but I can't purchase them anywhere, so I am stuck trying to figure out whether I can make my laptop compatible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Firstly not all machines with touchscreens support stylus pen, same as tablets and smartphones. Please check the following compatible list to select a right one.

Hi Banhien,

Thank you for the reply and for the list. I already checked this list, and my laptop is compatible with the HP Active Pen and HP Pro Active Pen, so my laptop should be compatible with active pens.

No I did not buy either product. They are not easily available anywhere online except from non-reputable sources. This is why I am trying to figure out what I can do
