Product: HP Spectre x360 14 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-eu0000 (7K634AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

For an unknown reason my new laptop (HP spectre 14 - 2024) started dimming background apps. When it use split screen as in editing two documents one in each half of the screen, the active one is normal and the other is dimmed for no apparent reason. I cant find the option to undo this. I managed to temporarily resolve this by uninstalling the HP support assistant temporarily but on reinstalling it it soon appeared again with a few days. I have no explanation for why this occurs. any idea?
