Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I would like to disable Intel(R) HD Graphics 520 and to use only AMD Radeon(TM) R7 M440 on my Notebook (HP 15-ay006nm Notebook).

How to disable switchable graphics and use only AMD?

Thank you in advance,

Hi,

You cannot disable integrated graphics, but you could try instructions given in here:

Thank you.

But unfortunately that does not help me. I do not have possibility to change fixed or dynamic graphic card in BIOS and also software which use my graphic card does not have Catalyst Control Center.

What I can do in AMD setting is to put specific software in high performance. But that is not what I want and what I need. I need windows always use AMD not Intel graphic card.

That's is far from possible in consumer notebooks from any OEM brand.

Actually I have CCC but for some reason AMD Catalyst Control Center won't start. I thought my graphic card does not support CCC but obviously that is some error.

So here is explanation followed with images.

First I will start with BIOS

You can see (image belowe) that I do not have switching option (and I download latest BIOS)

Second. You can see AMD Radeon settings (image belowe). And only what I can do in settings is to choose specific program and change to high performance. But that is not what I wont.

Third. You can see note when I want to open ccc (image below). From some reason ccc can not be started.

What I would like. To change display adapter from Intel (image below) to AMD. Can you help me? I tried everything I know.

Thank you in advance,
