My screen has been flickering/glitching for the past 3 or 4 months. At first, it did not bother me, when it would start to flicker/glitch I just let it go and it would not do it again for the rest of the day. However, now it has gotten out of hand. I can’t turn on my computer without it flickering/glitching, I can barely see what I am doing. The only way I can get it to stop is by plugging it into an external monitor. This issue has slowly gotten out of hand and making it very hard for me to do my work.
I have followed some of the fixes suggested by Windows in one of their support articles. I updated the BIOS and then updated my computer to Windows 10. I have also updated all the Microsoft Store apps and all other applications (I could find) that I have downloaded. I have also updated the display driver. I even changed the refresh rate from 59.999Hz to 40.000Hz. I even did the Task Manager test, and the Task Manger seems to be glitching along with the screen. So, it seems to be a graphics driver problem.
I really don’t know what the problem is and I am afraid to uninstall all the applications I have downloaded for school just to stop this flickering/glitching.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the display.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
What is the product number of your computer?
Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below HP link and check if it helps.

If you continue facing the issue, then I recommend you boot to BIOS by tapping the F10 key on the restart and check whether you are able to duplicate the issue on the BIOS screen.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
