HP Chromebook x360 14 inch 14c-cc0000 (27A38AV)

I cannot explain this issue very well, but I will start by specifying my laptop model. Google couldn't help with this.

I own an HP Chromebook x360. 14-inch screen, 8 gb of RAM, and 128 gb of storage. Processor is Intel Core i3. This same model was previously ordered via Best Buy and I got it delivered. A hardware issue developed and I had to replace it with a new one. After setting up and updating this current replacement (which has far better camera/mic quailty) to the current ChromeOS, some display issues I had on the previous one started up again. It mostly happens with certain words, mainly on Spotify and Discord. I can't even use Spotify to listen to music anymore, like I always do, because it's so annoying. Here are some pictures to convey the problem better.

I was told to disable all my extensions, but the issue persists. I really don't know what to do. 😔 This has never happened to me before! It can't be a virus, I have anti-virus software and Chromebooks only come with limited anti-virus protection. All my previous extra extensions have been removed. Please help!!

I still can't figure out why this is happening. I restarted my laptop and it's still occurring. Can someone help me please?

Hi @chococarmela

Welcome to the HP Support Community. Thanks for bringing this to our notice.

I see that you are facing display-related issues on your system. Do not worry, we are here to fix it.

May I know from when are you facing this issue?

Did you make any hardware or software-related changes to it?

I would suggest you please recover your Chromebook and check if the issue persists. Here is a link that will help you: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/1080595?hl=en

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

No, I haven't made ANY software or hardware changes to the laptop since I got it. It's happened on the old Chromebook I had, same model, and it's happened since I got this new one last week. I will try to recover the Chromebook and see if it happens.

Thank you for your response!
