HP Notebook G61-320CA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Please advise what is the maximum display resolution this laptop should be capable of.

I currently have 1366  X 768 for the laptop display as the maximum resolution setting available & only 720 X 480 when using the HDMI port.

1280 X 720 & 720 X 576 are listed when using the HDMI port but I am unable to select the 2 higher resolutions & have to use the 720 X 480 resolution setting when using the HDMI port.

Please advise if there is any method to increase the current display resolution & HDMI resolution

Best Regards..

Its specs

          https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c01954006

It is an old machine with HDMI port for video out. The spec does not say which HDMI version but I believe it has HDMI 1.3b which supports 1920 x 1080 resolution.

It is more than 10 years old now, I can't find driver form HP. Please try

I have the ATI Mobility HD 4200 Series for the display adapter but I am using Version 8.970.100.9001 which is downloaded I believe when I upgraded W7 Home Premium 64 bit to W 10

Hi Banhien,

Thanks for the link to the specs, I see the display resolution specs are listed as 1366 X 768.

I swear I had 1920 X 1080 after the W10 update so not sure how this resolution was downgraded to 1366 X 768.

Maybe it was messed up after going back to W7 from W10 & back to W10?????
