I run my laptop quite cleanly, and I ran several tests over the course of a few days, but nothing is flagging except for my battery. There is a uniform line that makes distinct cut across the bottom of my screen with colors and lines pulling in as abstract from whatever is being rendered on the screen.
(This coloring you see is dependent on what you see on screen, otherwise it remains a faded blackish hue)
Note: The line can be see-through normally, but puts a bit of a gray filter on to whatever is underneath.
What I have done:
1. Restart Laptop
2. Reinstall Windows OS
3. Tested through the HP Diagnostic App (The line appears in this rebooted mode, so I figure hardware issue)
Does anyone have an idea here?
Thanks.
