HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg2000 (4U8D7AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have bought this laptop just one month and I am rarely to use it as I keep it in a secure place without any obstruction on it. However, it displays black and colour strips in the middle of the screen two days ago. I immediately reported to the support team, but they just got a quote for repair that costs more than half of the selling price of my laptop that I cannot accept. Does anyone here can give me any advice?

Hello @Marcolee628

If the screen is not cracked, it is clearly a warranty case. No costs at all !

Kind regards

You are absolutely right, and this is what I don't understand that they know the screen hasn't seen any cracks. They accused that it is damaged internally because of the pressure as the device is very fragile as this does not make any sense to me. It is because I have not brought the device out of my house and keeping it on a safe surface all the time and I seldom to use it because I have two desktop PC at home.
