HP Envy 13
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I'm looking for some help to fix  problem I have with projecting from my laptop to a monitor via the USB-C drive. This was working last week but now I receive a message saying "Display Connection might be limited", and as far as I know we haven't changed anything.

I have seen other solutions saying to update the drivers for display adaptors, but I have checked mine and they are all up to date.

Unfortunately I don't possess any other devices with USB-C connections so I can't test the port itself.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

What is your HP Envy 13 . Its USB-C port may not support Alt mode therefore you can't connect to an external monitor. Please use the following way to find out the model/product of your machine

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

Regards.

Thanks for getting back to me.

My product is an HP envy  laptop 13-ah0003NA, Product ID: 00325-96414-40192-AAOEM.

Just to reiterate, the port has worked in the past, but has stopped connecting to the monitor.
