Good evening
Similar to GMBF, I am attempting to connect an AOC monitor I1601FWUX with USB-C connector; but my laptop does not recognize the monitor.
Once it is connected, "Display connection might be limited" pops up on my laptop, the monitor turns on and provides a "No signal" message and then turns off. In the "Control Panel", it is recognized as "Billboard Device". I have updated my system and attempted to install the drivers directly from the AOC website (I was unable to use the CD provided with the box as I do not have CD-port), however this gave the same results.
I did see that one previous suggestion was that of an HDMI to USB-C cable, if we are unsuccessful in fixing the issue otherwise, please do recommend where one of quality can be purchased at this time.
Looking forward to your response and finally being able to use this monitor!
Much appreciation

Good Morning
This port was defined as 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) on the laptop properties, which I know see means the port is not appropriate for display.
My laptop is a Pavilion x360 Convertible Model 14-dh0017ni
Thank you for your assistance
