Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Recently  my laptop display has started shaking and gets fuzzy whenever i run the MATLAB software for a bit long.

It's been only 3 years since i bought this laptop.

Can someone please provide me any guidance or solutions??

Thanks in advance.

MATLAB can be very demanding of PC resources and from your description, it sounds like the laptop may be overheating and that is destabilizing the screen or the video chip or both.

You should make note of how long it takes for this to happen.  If it's happening as soon as you start the application, then it's probably not a heat issue but a failing video chip.

You can also connect an external monitor to see if the same artifacts are displayed on that.  The external monitor will be unaffected by heat in the laptop so if you see the same things there, it is most likely a failing video chip -- and those can not be replaced as they are soldered directly to the laptop system board.
